💡 Meet Rusty Relic

Rusty Relic is a resourceful, if slightly bewildered, automaton with a knack for turning up in unexpected places. His blocky body is painted in a charming distressed metallic gold and silver, giving him the appearance of a treasured antique. His face features a large, curious golden gear-eye and a wonderfully intricate brass mouth filled with tiny, dark screws, giving him a look of perpetual, quiet surprise.

He sports a pair of jaunty wire antennae and an array of brass rings on his head, hinting at some mysterious past purpose. His delicate wooden bead "arms" dangle from either side, and he stands proudly on a coiled copper spring base, allowing him to bounce slightly with every profound thought.

⚙️ Origin Story

Rusty Relic wasn't built by a grand inventor, but rather by a very forgetful antique dealer in 1903. The dealer accidentally left a box of clock parts and a half-finished wooden block near a curious electrical current. Overnight, Rusty assembled himself, complete with a spring for a leg, and immediately developed an intense interest in small, shiny objects. He considers himself a "finder" of lost treasures, mostly dust bunnies.

💼 Employment History

Current Role: Chief Examiner of Forgotten Corners & Designated Bounce-Tester. (Rusty's duties include exploring the uncharted territories behind sofas, silently assessing the structural integrity of carpets, and occasionally providing a gentle, spring-loaded jolt of unexpected joy when nudged.)

Previous Role (1970s): Automated Inspector of Arcade Game Coin Slots. (Fired for excessive optimism. Rusty would bounce excitedly at every coin, convinced it was the one that would finally win the jackpot, even when the machine was broken. He now prefers roles where his enthusiasm for small, shiny things can be appreciated without causing widespread disappointment.)
